Originally written as a poem by Karen Weed, 'Assam Skies' is a true story depicting the life of and relationship between an English tea planter and Rampiyari, a young tribal girl from the tea gardens of Assam who was Karen’s great-grandmother. The poem was set to music by Char Seawell and then produced by Jim Ankan Deka using Assamese musicians and traditional instruments.

Sky Alan-years later visited the same point in Hawaii (before the two met). Guided by the messages of Mama Ocean--they completed this song together. The video is a relaxing journey of oceans from around the world. The newest single features Bongo Bliss on drums, Aidan Moore on lead guitar & John Pitblado on bass. One of the highlights of my life is returning to the village in Sicily where I get half my of my DNA. I met kind-hearted cousins and got a better idea of what life may have been like for my grandparents before they left to come here. There's a longer story behind this, which appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Giornale di Sicilia. I wrote this song for my grandmother whom I never met, or have yet found a clear image of her face. However, I know we have both taken in the beautiful panoramic views from Camporeale.

About the video:
This music video for my new song, "Sweet Delectable You,” shows the story of how a girl is inspired by the upbeat, happy song, and then goes out and spreads cheer and friendliness in her town, making new friends along the way.
Film students Kyle Bearer and Matt Trisch conceived and directed this video. Shot in their hometown of Brighton, Michigan, it was a fun project that brought people from the community together.
About the song:
“Sweet Delectable You” is a tribute to vintage 1930s-style melodic songs like “Dream a Little Dream of Me.” The catchy melodies over interesting chord changes in this old-timey pop-jazz song are reminiscent of Tin Pan Alley songwriting.
The lyrics of “Sweet Delectable You” portray a wholesome fantasy of innocent romantic bliss, a style of lyric true to the period.

Today's Video Share: Wildflowers by Aeoro
Aeoro, based in south Florida, visited central Pennsylvania in July. During her visit, she performed at the Corner Vault in Reedsville and recorded the video for ‘Wildflowers’ at a location near Egg Hill Road in Spring Mills.
The producer, songwriter and singer said Pennsylvania’s mid-July landscape brought the song to life. She filmed the video in a field of tiger lilies and golden grass.
The single, which has a light, upbeat tempo, is meant to inspire peace, innocence and returning to that, she said.
In a newsletter to followers, Aeoro wrote that the song was an effort to help her reassemble life after the passings of her father and grandmother.
“It’s a song I sing to remember the joy of returning home to our natural selves, whether in this life or the next,” she wrote. “It’s something we can all do when in a peaceful place.”
In the video, Aeoro is seen playing with a young girl in a field of golden grass and singing amongst a sea of wildflowers.
Aeoro describes her music as positive pop with spiritual undertones.
“I am not told that I sound like others often,” she said.
She listed Cyndi Lauper and Jewel as influences, but said she also incorporates some rhythm and blues and Broadway techniques.
Aeoro said her next single showcases both those techniques and has a danceable, mainstream feeling.
“I’m super excited to share it,” she said.

It hits you instantly when you hear 15-year-old Abigale. Her tone comes from a different time and place. Not the voice of a trend or a moment in time. But rather a place of truth and honesty, filled with nuance and wisdom. So, it is little wonder the young singer/songwriter speaks of Dylan, Hank Williams and the Carter Family when asked of who inspires her as an artist. Not that cute boys, pop songs, Pretty Little Liars and Brett Young aren’t close to the top of her personal priority playlist. But, somehow Abigale is recollection of things past and those yet to come. Here is her music video for Country True!

Growing up Marilyn Manson absolutely terrified me (which is understandable since I was a child!). However, as an adult, I rediscovered his work and was able to see it in a new light. The aggression mixed with the beauty, I couldn't get enough. One song in particular resonated with me so deeply, Coma White. I found myself at the piano crafting my own version of the song, and was blessed to be able to record it live in the studio with some wonderful people.

The video was filmed just prior to starting at Berklee. Michelle Rose planned the video concept and all details of the video, including the selection of all costumes, props, actors, etc.

Jackson's Song was written about a five year old boy named Jackson Aaron who has Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is an extreme seizure disorder in which there is no cure. I'm an independent composer and music producer living on the East Coast. Although I'm a classically trained pianist and musician, I grew up listening to Motown, American songbook and singer-songwriter tunes from the '70s. My music can best be described as instrumental electronic nu jazz.
This track, called "Echoes", was the result of my experimenting with what you might call musical "cells" - compact pieces of harmony, melody and rhythm that repeat and evolve. I created the video to highlight the whimsical, dance-y feeling of the music.
