Roberts was in a popular band in Southern California called DRIVEN STEEL for 6 years (1989-1995), was founded by her, all original music, ended up being an all-female metal band (3 piece) with Julia on lead vocals and guitar. Julia Roberts' Global Warning started in 2012 and was active through 2017, with Julia the only constant, and working with different people at various times.
