Callie Sioux (bass, and vocals) for Gleewood (NM), a southwestern neo-vintage folk- rock band teamed up with Robyn Cage (UT) an alternative pop artist to record their version of "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane. These powerful red-headed front women embody the spirit of Grace Slick and their late 60's influences in this full band version, Callie and Robyn first met while collaborating on a independent music festival held in Park City, UT during Sundance Film Festival called Indie Fresh Brew, and since then have worked together to help other independent artists through booking, recording and promotion.
Also featured are Jhett Schiavone (Callie's husband on electric guitar), Chavo Budlong (12 string guitar), and Jarryd Wark (drums). The video was masterfully filmed and edited by Salt Lake City photographer and videographer Bryce Johnson.
Robyn Cage is now apart of Jefferson Family (the remaining members of Jefferson Airplane and the Grateful Dead) as the official vocalist for the Grace Slick repertoire. Callie Sioux and Gleewood Band are headed to Europe in September of 2017 for their fall tour.
