Today's Video Share: Rosa by Tracy Colletto
One of the highlights of my life is returning to the village in Sicily where I get half my of my DNA. I met kind-hearted cousins and got a better idea of what life may have been like for my grandparents before they left to come here. There's a longer story behind this, which appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Giornale di Sicilia. I wrote this song for my grandmother whom I never met, or have yet found a clear image of her face. However, I know we have both taken in the beautiful panoramic views from Camporeale.

Lyrics and Credits: Rosa, the distance has been met Now I can see what you have left And still, the fields singe in the summer's night The clouds, they ride upon the Scirocco (oh) But your mother's tears long dried away Rosa, I ask yet most want to forget Was it all worth it?
